    Aberdeenshire Carers Service – Quarriers

    Aberdeenshire Carers Service will listen to your story and help you access the advice, information and support which best meets your needs. They provide advice and information about local services, benefit entitlements and medical conditions, as well as connecting with specialist agencies to ensure that all enquiries are answered as fully as possible. Their Care and Share groups offer carers the opportunity to meet and share their experiences.

    Achievement Bute

    Achievement Bute is a families-led voluntary organisation which provides a wide range of inclusive activities for all children and young people on Bute.     Autism Resource Centre – Glasgow

    The Autism Resource Centre (ARC) has a 2-part vision: 1. To provide information and training that improves the understanding and support of individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) 2. To support and empower people with ASD to understand and address their needs and to have their voice heard In order to deliver this vision, ARC: · Delivers various levels of training to build knowledge, skills and understanding around ASD · Raises awareness of ASD and available resources through its information service · Provides a variety of opportunities to improve social support, skills development and increased independence for people with ASD · Offers one-to-one information and guidance sessions · Promotes the views of people with ASD and their families · Work in partnership with other services to help them best meet the needs of people with ASD.

    BEMAS (Black and Ethnic Minority Advice Service)

    Advice and practical support for parents of disabled children (0 - 16 years), from black and ethnic minority communities. One to one casework on a range of issues, including; education, health, social work support, funding and grants, accessing leisure and social opportunities. Regular carers group meetings provide group support on topics of caring and disability. The service covers City of Edinburgh.
