Physiotherapists work with children and young people who have movement disorders, a disability or illness. The service provides assessment, treatment programmes, advice and support. NHS Orkney Paediatric Physiotherapy Services

Physiotherapists work with children and young people from birth to 19 years who have movement disorders, a disability, injury, joint pain or illness. The service provides assessment, treatment programmes, advice, hydrotherapy and support to children at The Children's Centre, at home or in school. Parents/children can request an appointment directly with the Children's physiotherapy team or may be referred by another health care provider.

The paediatric Speech and Language Therapy service supports children and young people who have speech, language, communication, and/or eating and drinking difficulties.
