Highland Council Children’s Occupational Therapy Service

Occupational Therapists work with parents, carers and others to assess if a child has difficulties with everyday practical and social skills. Occupational Therapists aim to enable the child to be as physically, psychologically and socially independent as possible. Highland Children and Young People Allied Health Professionals (AHP) Enquiry Line Every Tuesday between 2pm and 5pm there will be AHPs available to answer questions you may have (AHPs are Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Dietitians, and Speech and Language Therapists). Highland One Stop Shop

The Highland One Stop Shop (HOSS) is a service for autistic adults aged 16 and over who live in the Highlands. We provide a range of services; drop ins (at our base in Inverness, Friars Street as well as Caithness, Skye and Lochaber), social groups and activities as well as 1:1 appointments with a member of staff.  During a 1:1 appointment, staff can provide advice and information on a wide range of topics such as pre and post diagnostic support, benefits, employment and mental wellbeing.
