    NHS Lanarkshire Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

    The NHS Lanarkshire Child & Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) is a specialist service for infants, children and young people. The service accepts referrals up to the young person’s 18th birthday if they are still in high school education where the young person is experiencing moderate to severe emotional, behavioural mental health difficulties.  Seven CAMHS teams cover the Lanarkshire area.  Every school should have a named contact for specialist children and adolescent mental health services.

    NHS Lothian CAMHS – Child Learning Disability Service

    The Child Learning Disability Service works with children and young people who are between 0 to 18 years old and have significant developmental delay or a learning disability (with or without autism), and have mental health or complex behavioural problems. The specialist team also works closely with and supports families and carers. As well as an outpatient service, they also offer specialist Early Years and Intensive Treatment Services.

    NHS Lothian Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)

    CAMHS stands for Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. These services work with children and young people (from age 5 to their 18th birthday), and their parents or carers. NHS Lothian CAMHS provides specialist assessment/intervention as part of a tiered system, which can include consultation and advice prior to referral, and assessment appointment to establish clinical need and priority status. NHS Lothian CAMHS is made up of a number of different teams. All CAMHS teams work closely with medical staff, schools and other professionals.

    NHS Orkney Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS)

    Provides a service to children and young people between the ages of 0-18 years who are experiencing mental health difficulties or who are at a high degree of risk of developing mental heath problems.  Every school should have a named contact for specialist children and adolescent mental health services.
