    Aberdeenshire Carers Service – Quarriers

    Aberdeenshire Carers Service will listen to your story and help you access the advice, information and support which best meets your needs. They provide advice and information about local services, benefit entitlements and medical conditions, as well as connecting with specialist agencies to ensure that all enquiries are answered as fully as possible. Their Care and Share groups offer carers the opportunity to meet and share their experiences.

    Aberlour

    Aberlour Children’s Charity helps disadvantaged children and families in Scotland have a brighter future.  Our support runs the length and breadth of Scotland because not all children are born with an equal chance. We are there for Scotland’s hidden children when others let them down because every child deserves the chance to flourish. We offer a range of services across Scotland.  These offer practical and emotional care and support, including:
    • Residential and Fostering care for children unable to live with their families.
    • Recovery help for families effected by addiction.
    • Early years support by lighting the load for families that need extra help raising their young children.
    • We ensure children with a disability get the right care and support they need.
    • We offer an Urgent Assistance Fund to help families struggling to provide food, heating and clothing for their children.

    Achievement Bute

    Achievement Bute is a families-led voluntary organisation which provides a wide range of inclusive activities for all children and young people on Bute. We were set up by parents of children with disabilities in 1998 who wanted to make sure that all young people could be fully included in activities in their local community.     Adoption UK – Scotland Office

    Adoption UK in Scotland provides information, support and advice to those parenting children who are no longer able to live with their birth families, across Scotland. Their services are provided through their helpline, online support systems, training workshops and support groups. Helpline is open Mon-Fri 10am-2.30pm (0300 666 0006)

    AIMS Advocacy

    AIMS Advocacy works with people from North Ayrshire over the age of 16 years old who require independent advocacy and who are eligible to receive a community care service. This includes people who experience mental ill health or disabilities. We offer advocacy support in the community as well as hospital settings.
