    Dyslexia Scotwest is an information and advocacy service, dedicated to assisting dyslexic people in the west of Scotland. They have two main aims, firstly, to raise awareness and understanding of dyslexia and, secondly, to offer help and support to anyone with an interest in dyslexia.

    Minority Ethnic Advocacy Project (West of Scotland Regional Equality Council & Govan Community Project)

    Aims to reduce the barriers faced by minority ethnic communities such as language, lack of awareness etc and increase confidence through inter-cultural dialogue and capacity building individuals. The main goal of the project is to connect vulnerable and isolated individuals with mainstream services they require by supporting them to understand their situation and helping them make informed decisions. The project helps individuals from a BME background to build confidence and enable empowerment. Their diverse staff includes speakers of Arabic, Farsi and Urdu/Punjabi.

    NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde Specialist Children’s Services

    Specialist Children’s Services (SCS) provides community and hospital based secondary care services for a range of children and young people 0-19 years old throughout Greater Glasgow and Clyde. SCS provide services to a range of children and young people experiencing various long term, life limiting illnesses and disorders as well as mental health problems and difficulties. Specialist Children’s Services headquarters are based in Templeton On The Green, 62 Templeton Street, Bridgeton, Glasgow G40 1DA where we have a range of staff including the Head of Specialist Children’s Services, Clinical Director for Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Clinical Director for Specialist Community Paediatrics.

    Renfrewshire Educational Psychology Service

    Renfrewshire Educational Psychology Service aims to apply psychology and to work collaboratively with others in an educational context in order to support the learning and emotional wellbeing of children and young people, in particular those who have additional support needs and to support the implementation of the "Getting it Right for Every Child" (GIRFEC) agenda within Renfrewshire.
