Angus Independent Advocacy
Angus Independent Advocacy works with adults who are at risk of being unable to safeguard their rights, and who may have: a learning disability; mental ill health; an acquired brain injury; dementia, or; are an older person.
What the advocates do: support in confidence; help you take control of your own life; support you when making choices that affect your life; protect your rights; help you explore options and make informed choices; help you speak to professionals; help you prepare and accompany you to meetings.

Parent to Parent
A team of support workers help parents on a one to one basis and are available to any family caring for a child with an additional need in the Dundee, Angus and Perth and Kinross area. This may be a physical disability, learning difficulty, sensory difficulties, long-term illness or an emotional difficulty linked to the child's disability. Referrals are allocated to the most appropriate support worker who will make contact with the family as soon as they are able to offer support.
