Schools – fostering a positive, inclusive and safe environment: guidance was published by the Scottish Government in 2025. This non-statutory guidance provides advice to schools and local authorities on promoting positive relationships and behaviour in schools. It includes guidance on the use of consequences as part of relationships and behaviour policies and outlines approaches to creating and maintaining positive, inclusive and safe school environments.
