Helpline complaints procedure

Complaints should be made in writing by email to info@enquire.org.uk or by letter to:
Children in Scotland
Rosebery House
9 Haymarket Terrace
EH12 5EZ

Please provide as much information as you can about your complaint. It would be particularly helpful to know:

  • Your full name
  • The date you contacted the helpline
  • What has caused you to complain
  • What you would like us to do about your complaint
  • A telephone number in case we need to contact you for more information

We will acknowledge your complaint within five working days of receiving it. We will investigate your complaint and send our response within 21 working days of receiving it.

If you are unhappy with our response, you can ask for the Chief Executive or a Board member of Children in Scotland (the organisation that manages Enquire) to consider your complaint. They will reply in writing to you within two months of that request.
