Module: Working with families to provide the right support

Image of the learning module

Enquire, in partnership with Falkirk Council, has developed this 15-30 minute module to introduce you to, or refresh your knowledge on, working with families to provide the right support.

In this module we will explore:

  • children and young people’s legal rights to be involved in decisions about their support for learning
  • parents’ and carers’ legal rights to be involved in decisions about their child’s support
  • how to build positive communication and relationships with children and young people and their families.

Time to complete: 15 – 30 mins

Further modules

Enquire are developing supporting materials to accompany these modules so they can be used for CPD and in-service training. If this is something you would be interested in, and may like to work together with us to produce, please contact our Senior Advice and Information Officer Mark Patterson.
