Our helpline staff will listen to your concerns, explain your child’s rights to additional support and provide advice about working with your child’s school. We can also provide advice and information about additional support for learning to people working with children and families.

Helpline opening hours
The helpline is open Monday-Friday, 9am-4.30pm. We respond to enquiries in the order we receive them. If you write to us, we will send you an acknowledgement within one working day. If you phone us, we will generally take a message and call you back. At the moment, it is taking us up to five working days to respond to enquiries.
Calls from a landline to 0345 numbers typically cost up to 9p per minute, while calls from a mobile phone can vary from free to 55p per minute. If cost is an issue for you, please let us know and we will call you back.
