What is a co-ordinated support plan (CSP)?

A CSP aims to make sure that the additional support your child receives is properly co-ordinated. There are specific reasons why a CSP will be needed, see Which children need a CSP? A CSP will describe your child’s strengths, your child’s additional support needs, and your child’s educational objectives. It will also describe the support they need to meet these objectives and the types of professionals who will provide support. It will state the person co-ordinating your child’s plan and contain the name of the school your child attends. A CSP is a legal document.
