Training: Child bilingualism – 4 May 2011

Children in Scotland offer specialist training and resources for those working with children and families in Scotland.

This new one-day workshop aimed at professionals and carers who deal with children from bilingual backgrounds, will provide an understanding of how the bilingual child’s brain works and will illustrate the many linguistic and cognitive advantages of growing up with more than one language. Bilingualism is taken in a broad sense to include children of parents who speak different languages.
