Children’s mental health conference and half-day workshop – 11/12 May 2011

The University of Glasgow’s 7th Annual Children’s Mental Health Conference will provide an opportunity to update key practice knowledge, hear from child mental health experts and review and debate hot topics.

The programme will consider

  • the mental health needs of maltreated infants
  • managing anxiety disorders in children and young people
  • eating disorders and how they affect children and young people
  • delivering health and well being in schools in the 21st century

Venue: Hilton Glasgow Grosvenor

A half-day workshop on ‘Working with Children and Young people Experiencing Trauma and Distress’ will take place on the 11th May 2011 at Yorkhill Hospital.
