I was very impressed with the professionalism of the service and literature and extremely grateful for the advice provided. In our case, the [Enquire] Helpline helped to secure a positive outcome from the local authority for our child, together with a commitment to the revision of the authority’s policy.
Books for All Scotland Project
Many young people in Scotland have difficulty in school because they don’t have books and other curriculum materials they need in a format that suits their needs.
Learning and Teaching Scotland (in partnership with the Scottish Government and CALL Scotland) developed the Books for All Scotland project.
The Books for All database contains adapted materials in accessible format to be used by pupils in Scotland with print disabilities. This database allows teachers and other practitioners to quickly find out if a book, worksheet or exam is already available in a format to suit a print disabled pupil.
Visit the Books for All Scotland website for more information.
