Inclusion Support Service (ISS), Clackmannanshire

Summary

This service consists of an Early Years Additional Support Needs (ASN) Team, Primary ASN team, Primary English as an Additional Language (EAL) and Sensory Teams (Vision and Hearing). The Sensory Team support children/young people 0-18. The ASN teams support the inclusion of children with learning difficulties, ASD and other identified ASNs in their mainstream school or nursery. Support may be direct support to the child or support to the establishment staff through support with identifying strategies, resources or training. The Early Years Team and Sensory Teams may also support parents/carers through home visits. Referral to the service is through Clackmannanshire Council’s Staged Intervention Process
