If you would like advice on additional support for learning contact Enquire’s confidential helpline on 0845 123 2303.

What our trained helpline advisers will do:

  • listen respectfully to your questions and concerns
  • provide advice and information on the education and additional support for learning system, (including resolving disagreements) and explain how it affects your situation
  • send you practical guides and factsheets about additional support for learning (or direct you to them on our website).

What our helpline advisers are unable to do:

  • provide advocacy services (e.g. speak to other professionals on your behalf) but we can give you details of organisations that do.

When is the helpline open?

The helpline is open Monday – Friday 9am – 4.30pm.

The helpline is closed on public holidays.

If you call outside these hours – or there is no adviser free to take your call  - please leave a message with your name and number and an adviser will call you back as soon as possible and certainly within 2 working days.

Is the helpline confidential?

Everything you talk to us about will be treated in the strictest confidence unless you tell us a child or young person is being, or has been abused, or is at risk of serious harm.

Is the helpline free?

Calls to 0845 numbers cost up to 4p per minute plus a connection fee of 9p from BT landlines unless your package includes 0845 numbers. Other landline providers may vary and mobiles could cost considerably more.
